Joe Franchewski - 299 Game
Joe Franchewski, bowling in the Golfer's League at Chateau Lanes on Saturday, Dec 5, 2009, rolled an awesome 299 game. Joe is one of our premiere Youth bowlers, a right-hander who throws a powerful ball - lots of revs and lots of speed. (Editor's note: Oh, to be young again <smile>). Thanks to the new CTF Youth Rules this season, our youth bowlers are allowed to bowl in adult leagues as well as their youth league, giving them more opportunities to gain experience bowling with the adults. After all, it won't be long before Joe will be moving out of the Youth Program and into the Adult Leagues, so the rule change allows our youth bowlers to meet a lot of adult bowlers and experience the adult leagues ahead of time.
I believe this is Joe's 2nd 299 game - he has now come oh-so-close to that elusive perfect game twice! With his talent, I'm sure it won't be long before he gets that 300 ring!
